Privacy And Policy
We are glad to find you here. Privacy stuff isn't exactly
the most exciting read, but we want you to actually understand how we handle
your info — so we wrote this like normal people.
What We Collect
If you reach out to us, sign up for our newsletter, or drop
a comment, we'll collect the basics — your name, email, that kind of thing. We
only ask for what we actually need.
What We Do With It
Pretty straightforward:
- Make
the site better and keep the travel content actually useful
- Reply
to your messages (we genuinely try to get back to everyone)
- Send
you travel tips and updates — but only if you signed up for that
We're not selling your info or doing anything sketchy with
it.
Log Files
Like pretty much every website out there, we keep log files.
These capture things like IP addresses, browser type, and when you visited.
It's standard stuff we use to see how the site's doing and fix problems when
they pop up.
Cookies
We use cookies to collect information. These help us
understand how people are using our site. After all this, we try to make our
site more beneficial.
Third-Party Tools
We use a few outside services (think analytics, that sort of
thing). They have their own cookies and their own privacy policies, which are
worth a look if you're curious.
Links to Other Sites
We link to a lot of travel sites and resources because
that's kind of the whole point. But once you click away, you're on their turf —
we can't vouch for how they handle your data.
Kids
Our site is not for under 13 kids. We do not collect information
from kids. If you think your kid has shared something with us, reach out and we
will take care of it right away.
Your Consent
By using the site, you're cool with this policy. That's the
deal.
Updates
We'll tweak this policy as needed and post any changes right
here. Nothing will change quietly.
Questions?
Hit us up through the website. We're real people and we
actually read the messages.
